Regional Solar Energy Forum at the Mound Advanced Technology Center
Mound Advanced Technology Center (MATC) and the Dayton Development Coalition will jointly host an Energy Roundtable and Exhibition on Wednesday, January 20th from noon to 6:00 PM. The event will be held on the MATC site, at 480 Vantage Point, Miamisburg.
This unique offering is open to any interested person, business or organization. Attendees will learn about the solar energy opportunities and applications in our region, network with energy peers and discover potential collaborating partners.

(MMCIC), the agency charged with reuse and redevelopment of the Mound facility. "Growth of the Dayton region's energy businesses can be a promising part of Miami Valley's future, and the Energy Roundtable aligns well with Mound's heritage, and target market of emerging energy as a part of its technology business park." "This event and the many partners who are participating in it highlight the incredible energy resources of the Dayton Region," said Dayton Development Coalition President and CEO Jim Leftwich. "As our economy moves forward, these resources will be even more important to the future of the Dayton Region. I appreciate the support of our sponsors and partners in hosting this event." 150 participants are anticipated to attend the event, and there will be 20 exhibits on display.
The speakers hail from national, state, and local organizations, and solar companies will be making presentations. The subjects will be: Promising Technologies & Renewables Support; Ohio Programs and Resources; Local Solar/Renewable Case Study and Solar Technology in Ohio - Financial Performances, Pros and Cons.
The program is being sponsored by the Dayton Power and Light Company and Melink Corporation, and is supported by the U.S. Department of Energy.
