Miamisburg Mound Community Improvement Corporation, the city of Miamisburg and the Department of Energy will host a celebration of a major milestone in the history of the Mound site. Participants will include federal, state and local officials, including Sen. Sherrod Brown and Rep. Mike Turner. Also participating will be Dayton area business and community leaders, MMCIC Board, former Mound workers, Mound clients, representatives of local economic development organizations and others.

The celebration will include special presentations and announcements about Mound's future as a business and technology park. The ceremonies will be followed by a reception and bus tours until 4 p.m. The Mound Museum will be open until 4 p.m. The Miamisburg High School Band will perform before the event.
