Mound to Host Energy Efficiency Roundtable
Energy efficiency will be the topic as representatives of area business, development organizations and government gather on May 5 for the third in a series on Energy Roundtables hosted at Mound.
The day-long event will feature presentations on Department of Energy and State of Ohio initiatives as well as incentive programs, a discussion of energy efficient building systems, cultural challenges, energy efficiency finance and case studies.
The event will also feature product and service exhibitions by energy-focused companies and organizations.
The location is 480 Vantage Point at the Mound Advanced Technology Center. Energy Roundtable presentations will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibition hall will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Exhibitors will be charged $30. Other participants will pay $20, and lunch will be provided.
The Energy Efficiency Roundtable will be hosted by the Miamisburg Mound Community Improvement Corporation and the Dayton Development Coalition. Sponsors include Dayton Power & Light Company, Battelle & Battelle, and Turner Property Services Group. Additional support is provided by the U.S. Department of Energy, Green Energy Ohio, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, Building and Owners and Managers Association and the International Facilities Management Association.
