City Moves Toward Joining Regional Dispatch

Dayton City Manager Rashad Young announced Wednesday that the city has moved one step closer to joining the proposed regional dispatch center with Montgomery County and other surrounding jurisdictions.

Young said that he recommended to city council that the city formally agree to participate. The council must adopt the recommendation, but Montgomery County Commissioner Judy Dodge said in the news release that the city will be joining the center.
